Landscape Layouts
Landscape Layouts are a key element of Landscape Design. The Layout organizes the placement of objects and features in your landscape. A layout defines the shapes that everything in your landscape from plants and boulders to decks and patios will be placed and organized within. The four primary Landscape Layout types are Modern, Contemporary (Informal Landscapes), Classic (Formal Landscapes), and Natural (Organic). Don’t think too hard when deciding which layout or layouts you want, pick them by instinctual reaction, after all you can always change your mind! Different aspects of two or more layouts can also be combined to create innovative landscapes. Once you’ve picked a layout, layouts, or aspects you like go to our Garden Styles Pages to pick a garden style.
